There's a one page interview with Pterry in Interzone magazine.
He talks about beekeeping.

Oooohh - sounds painful!! Reminds me of PK's pencil sketch of Granny in
The Pratchett Portfolio, where her entire head is smothered in them.
I'll be an big fan of anybody who offers to spend their own time in making
me some clear honey though - I love the stuff, but there's no way you're
gonna get me to make it myself though - I'm just not brave enough!! :-)
All the best

Don't you have to be a bee to make honey?

....to make honey do what, exactly? And what will happen to her if she
refuses?

Er, flow? stick?
If you put a comma after "make" it's slightly *more* confusing ;-)

I'd never put honey in the refuse.

Nah, it's like a corporation. They're the drones; you're the
management.

I don't think so.
Usually, being a flower works better.

Nah, flowers make nectar. It takes bee-spit and pollen and stuff to turn
nectar into honey.

I wonder how big PTerry's tree is, or how high he's prepared to climb
before he starts getting vertigo? :-)
